KangaROOS | ROOSunited - Morprime

Morprime Industries x Tommy Triggah x KanagaROOS ROOSUnited 'Inside Job'

A mouthful of a name, that is matched up with an eye full of details for your mind to process. A brand that in the UK we don’t rave about that much, but that Europeans adore.

Part of the new collaborative range by KangaROOS dubbed ‘ROOSUnited’. This project celebrates sneakerheads and enthusiasts within Europe that have been making their own movements within the community. Giving them the chance to produce one of the brands signature ‘Made in Germany’ models.

This pair was designed by both Morprime and Tommy Triggah. For those who are aware of these gents will know that they are two hardcore collectors that have amassed a huge wealth of knowledge; following there passion for product and stashing away some crazy pairs.

Without hesitation, the pair chose to create the brands’ first hybrid model on their Runner silhouette and paired it up with the infamous ROOS Dynacoil R1 sole unit to provide that extra comfort.

Using a mix of leathers and meshes across the shoe, the duo pieced their design with the love of all things sneakers at the forefront of their minds. Showcasing what it is we love about product as consumers/collectors. The shoe doesn’t finish there though - The tongue was also replaced with neoprene, removing the lace loop and also features embroidered branding. Individually numbered stamps feature on the medial panel of each pair as well has heel branding of both Morgan and Tommy. Topping it off, they swapped out the medial side panel and branding to feature a black leather boarder around the logo and a gridded ripstop nylon underlay. (Both final release version and samples are available to look below)

All in all this was an amazing release and a seriously good intro to a new market for KangaROOS. Has anyone caught the flavour yet?

I want to finish this off with saying a huge thank you to Morgan for this pair. I messaged him not long ago asking about sizing ready to pull the triggah … (get my joke) and support a good friend. Next thing I know there was a pair at my doorstep! For that I am incredibly grateful. Huge congrats my guy, may there be many more projects like this to come!
