2020 showcased a big push from Puma with a range of releases such as the Future Rider, the Calibrate and a return of the classic Puma Mirage. Not only that but the brand also signed Neymar Jr and was recognised by Forbes as one of the worlds leading employers in 2020.
So overall 2020 was a huge year for the brand in what we hope will be a triumphant comeback into the scene.
One of the brands’ main stories for the year was of course the classic Puma Suede, which has been worked on endlessly with many different colour ways and collaborations over the years.
As part of those collaborations last year - Footpatrol reworked this timeless model to produce high quality ‘Made in Italy’ finish.
The shoe was kept in its original colour way with the medial form strip blacked out. Pieced together with a soft bushy suede, and gold foil detailing on the side branding and also the numbering on the heels. - Each all individually numbered from 1 to 200.
In replacement to the brands heel and tongue Puma branding, there is also now the well-recognised Footpatrol Gasmask. The shoe also features a contrast white stitch around the lateral side of the toe to show the shape of the shoe. This pair in particular came with the F&F exclusive box and also gold vinyl chain.
As a nod to some of the OG Puma styles and a hidden easter egg, the shoe features the size hole punched in small perforations on the right shoe on the tongue. This used to be done on many old puma models such as the Puma Clyde.
