Footpatrol x Adidas Forum 84 Low F&F ‘Greone/Glogry’ -
One of the most significant Adidas shoes to ever release, the Adidas Forum made its debut back in 1984 and replaced the Adidas Top Ten in the brands basketball range.
I remember reading Bobbito Garcia's (@koolboblove)book ‘Where did you get those’ and instantly became a fan of the shoe for its shape and panelling that the shoe is made up of. Not only that I believe this was actually the first performance shoe to feature suede on a performance shoe.
Designed by @footpatrol_ldn very own Asheeba Charles (@cherrybombink ). This Footpatrol iteration of the Forum pays homage to both the new and old Footpatrol, taking the colour references from the materials found in the stores today. To homage to the OG Footpatrol x Adidas collaborations, the snake skin stripes and inner sole (that is already in the shoe) are taken from the original Campus 80s collaboration from 2007.
Both shoes are also mismatched with the panelling and materials flipped on each shoe. For many people, they may not have seen that this project also comes with an additional inner sole and box sleeve featuring every single team members signature within Footpatrol.
Being a F&F/Community driven project all proceeds made from this launch will be donated to Soho based homeless Charity House of St.Barnabas (@hostbarnabas) who help people get back on their feet help give them the skills to work.
